Free shuttle option, F.R.E.D. (Free Ride Every Day)

The City of Norfolk offers F.R.E.D., a free on demand courtesy shuttle in Downtown Norfolk. It can pick up your guests from a garage and drop them off right at our door. 

How it works

• Call 757 478 7233 to request a pickup 

• Trips must start or end in the Downtown Improvement District 

• Riders must be 8 years or older 

Hours (may vary)

• Tuesday through Thursday: 11:00 AM to 8:30 PM 

• Friday through Saturday: 11:00 AM to 11:30 PM
